HOUSE LEAGUE
CMBA is proud to offer recreational divisions for players between the ages of 4 and 18 years old. Please direct any questions to vice president of house league.
REGISTRATION
House League registration is open from January 1st to April 1st. To register for the 2024 House League season, please follow the link below. Closer to the start of the season, parents will receive an email from the team's head coach with season details.
SEASON DATES
All House League divisions start in May (dependent on weather) when the fields are released by the City of Cambridge. House league will wrap up mid July.
**Rainouts could be rescheduled any day based on diamond availability**
Training and Practice : Optional practice times are determined by coaches and are typically held on Saturdays.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
All players, no matter the division or gender, require their own helmet with chin strap, glove and athletic supporter.
Running shoes or cleats may be worn. If cleats are worn, they must be plastic or rubber spikes. Metal spiked cleats are not permitted at any level of House League.
CMBA provides all House League teams with bats, balls, bases and catchers equipment as required. If a player chooses to purchase/use their own bat, it must meet the specifications of the playing level. Please refer to OBA BAT RULES before purchasing any bats for your athlete and reference the Rep rules for bats.
House League uniforms are included in the registration costs and include a baseball hat and team coloured jersey. Grey baseball pants are recommended but not required.
To support the communication and coordination of team schedules, it is suggested that each team use the TeamSnap mobile app.
JUNIOR HOUSE LEAGUE DIVISIONS (7 & UNDER)
JUNIOR T-BALL

SENIOR T-BALL
Birth Year: 2020 & 2019 (5 & 6 year old's)
Scheduled Day: Tuesday and Thursday's @ 6:15 PM (days of the week may changed based on field availability)

Sponsored by Timbits Sports, Senior T-ball is perfect for new and returning players. The focus is on introducing basic skills such as throwing, catching, hitting and base running through fun skills development drills.
7U
Ages: 6-7
Birth Year: 2019 & 2018
Scheduled Days: Mondays and Wednesday @ 6:15 PM (days of the week may changed based on field availability)

7U is our introduction to the coach pitch which gives players the opportunity to hit a live ball. Each session will consist of skills development stations for the first half of the session and wrap up with a 3 inning game. No score will be kept, batters will have 5 swings each at bat, and defense and offence will switch after 3 outs or 5 runs per inning. Throughout the course of the season, your athlete will be exposed to the finer elements of baseball and will transition to a more rules based game, much like they would find in our 8U program.
SENIOR HOUSE LEAGUE DIVISIONS (8U-18U)
CMBA Senior House League (9U through 18U) is ideal for new and returning recreational baseball players between the ages of 8 and 18 years old. Teams in all senior divisions will have one practice night and one game night each week. All division rules are consistent with Baseball Ontario/ICBA.
9U

Our 9U HL program offers all players the ability to participate and develop at baseball by playing live-games and working with their coach and teammates to develop their athletic ability and baseball fundamentals. This is their first introduction to the pitching machine. It allows live action in a very safe environment.
11U
